A27 bridge over the River Adur, Shoreham after sunset
The A27 road bridge over the Adur at Shoreham replaced the Old Shoreham Bridge. It is a substantial concrete and steel construction allowing an effortless passage across the river passing between Shoreham Airport and Lancing College. The streams of car lights describe the speed and congestion of car travel and with the late autumn sky at rush hour adds drama to an otherwise mundane and activity.
