South Downs ATMOSPHERE
Moody and mysterious early morning mists are a feature of our local valley landscape and surrounding downs influenced by the Adur. The river cuts through the South Downs from the sea to the Vale of Sussex and often forms a conduit for mists and fog to slowly wind their way through the valley in the early morning. Combined with the rising sun the landscape turns magical but that magic will disappear in an instant.
